Experience Social

MISSION
Our mission is to enhance the mental well-being and overall quality of life for individuals with autism, both children and adults, by addressing the detrimental impact of social exclusion. We are dedicated to crafting social programs that actively involve the autistic community in enjoyable and health-promoting social interactions. Experience Social strives to help individuals on the spectrum establish both a fulfilling professional life and a social life that is enjoyable, rewarding, and sustainable for their unique needs.

THE DISCONNECTION
When an individual receives an autism diagnosis, it often includes the identification of a social communication deficit. This deficit is a distinct symptom of autism, posing a challenge in forming personal connections as typically seen in neurotypical individuals. Social connections and interactions are essential for maintaining mental well-being, driven by our inherent human inclination to seek such connections.

Surveys consistently highlight a notable concern among autistic adults, which isn't centered around their 'condition' or diagnostic label of autism. Instead, their primary apprehensions are closely linked to enduring symptoms and feelings of chronic loneliness and social isolation. This disconcerting reality aligns with the troubling statistic that autistic individuals experience mental health challenges at rates significantly higher, ranging from 5 to 20 times, than the general population, encompassing conditions such as anxiety and depression.

PROVIDING A CONNECTION
We find ourselves in an era marked by unprecedented connectivity, situated in a country known for leading the way in media and communication innovation. In this landscape, where social media, virtual communication, and seamless work-from-home options are seamlessly integrated, Experience Social is fully committed to developing virtual programs aimed at enhancing the social and professional lives of the neurodiverse community.

CLUB SESSIONS

Club Sessions are dynamic, live, and virtually hosted social gatherings tailored for the neurodiverse community. Participants are thoughtfully grouped into clubs based on shared Common Interests and Compatible traits. Through Club Sessions, individuals on the spectrum have the opportunity to join these virtual gatherings twice a week with a shared objective: to achieve a common goal, enjoy each other's company, and have a good time. The allocation of members to specific clubs is carefully determined through an internal assessment of numerous independent factors, encompassing age, gender preferences, social inclinations, special interests, accommodation needs, scheduling, personality traits, and more. This comprehensive information is collected during the intake process.

Each club typically comprises 5 to 20 members, with the group's size tailored to accommodate the specific needs of its members. This intentionally small group size is designed to ensure that each member enjoys the most enriching social experience possible. To foster familiarity and a sense of belonging, club members often continue with the same club across multiple sessions. With only 5 to 20 members in each club, individuals can quickly become acquainted with both the club's leadership and their fellow members. In terms of frequency, each club hosts two virtual sessions per week, featuring one weekday session and one weekend session, each lasting about an hour. This means participants can look forward to one hour of safe, enjoyable, and engaging social interaction with a group of like-minded individuals who genuinely enjoy each other's company and share common interests.

Every Club Session is supported by a dedicated team of 2 Social Club Coaches who serve as hosts and coordinators for the session's agenda. These Coaches are the driving force behind the program, wholeheartedly committed to delivering outstanding social experiences to every member of the clubs they oversee. Their role involves not only facilitating each Club Session but also remaining available throughout the week to engage with and support every member within the clubs under their care. This ongoing availability allows them to cultivate and nurture one-on-one relationships with each club member, fostering a sense of connection and personalized support. In addition to their role in hosting club sessions and being accessible, each coach proactively initiates regular one-on-one "Check In Calls" with club members, typically occurring at least once or twice a week. These calls are designed to provide encouragement and uplift spirits throughout the week, enhancing the overall experience and offering valuable support to individual members.

Regular healthy social interaction is a fundamental need for everyone, and being alone on special occasions should be a thing of the past. With Club Sessions, all participants actively engage in club session special events, a standout feature of the program. Holidays, special occasions, and birthdays are pivotal aspects of our social fabric, shaping our lives in meaningful ways. For this very reason, no significant holiday, special occasion, or birthday is left uncelebrated within Club Sessions. From Valentine’s Day, Memorial Day, and Independence Day to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve, every holiday is marked with enthusiasm and joy. Experience Social is committed to going beyond providing pleasant social experiences; our aim is to assist members in building a social life characterized by healthy, enjoyable interactions. These interactions are shared with bonds they form with peers, family, and their broader community, fostering a sense of belonging and fulfillment.

CLUB SESSIONS PRO

Club Sessions Pro is a virtual skills development program specially designed to empower individuals within the neurodiverse community in their professional lives. Participants aged 16 and older have the opportunity to work from home under the Experience Social umbrella, receiving an hourly wage while collaborating in a virtual workspace with like-minded individuals.

The pressing need for such programs is underscored by the fact that in the United States, there are over 6 million people on the autism spectrum, with over 85% of autistic adults currently facing unemployment. This number rises to a staggering 80% among autistic college graduates. Furthermore, 50% of autistic individuals live in low-income households, often relying on caregivers for support.

Experience Social addresses these challenges by leveraging technology, nurturing corporate relationships, and tapping into the unique skillsets of the neurodiverse community. Club Sessions Pro offers a valuable opportunity for those on the spectrum to work in positions they enjoy, while securing work assignments from both the public and private sectors. These assignments predominantly revolve around data management tasks such as data entry, data appending, and data retrieval.

Individuals on the spectrum are often exceptionally well-suited for data management roles, thanks to their typically strong memory skills, acute attention to detail, ability to perform tasks accurately when provided proper guidance, and proficiency in navigating computer browsers to access necessary information.
